AR-15 Builder’s Class

Who it this course for?
This class is designed for the novice gun builder.
– Student must be 21 years of age.
– Student must provide a stripped lower receiver. This can be purchased before class from anywhere or through SCPT.

What can you expect?
Each student will learn how the AR-15 and each of its components work. During the class, students will build their very own rifle/pistol and test fire for functionality.

What materials will you be provided?
We provide the knowledge, tools, and expertise in building an AR-15 platform firearm. The parts you bring with you will be used; however, you can purchase all of the parts needed for this course prior to the class from SCPT for a discounted price.

Course Outline
Students will learn how to completely assemble a military spec AR-15 from the readily available
parts.
– Barrel & Gas Tube
– Upper Receiver & Bolt Carrier Group
– Lower receiver & Complete Trigger Group
– Stocks, Sights, and Slings
